Vikidia es una enciclopedia libre para niños y jóvenes de entre 8 y 13 años, para los que quieren una enciclopedia con una presentación sencilla de un tema y para los que están aprendiendo el castellano. La versión española comenzó el 10 de mayo de 2008 y todos pueden editarla, sin importar su edad. Esta enciclopedia libre está disponible también en otros idiomas.

• Siéntete libre de modificar artículos en Vikidia y de crear otros nuevos. ¡Tu ayuda es bienvenida!

• Puedes crear tu página de usuario, en la cual te presentas ante la comunidad.

• En las páginas de discusión, no se te olvide escribir 4 ~ o pulsar en el botón de firma de la pestaña superior para firmar tus aportaciones, ¡pero no en los artículos!

• No es recomendable el copia-pega de los artículos de Wikipedia, a menos que los mismos sean muy reducidos. Puedes tomar las ideas, ¡pero intenta escribir con tus palabras! De todos modos, si copias un artículo parcial o totalmente, utiliza la plantilla {{de Wikipedia}}.

• Utiliza el tablón de solicitudes por si tienes algún problema sobre Vikidia, y el patio si tienes una duda o pregunta para cualquier usuario o proponer cambios significativos.

• Si tienes algún error con el artículo que estás leyendo, repórtalo en el centro de reportes (¡pero trata de solucionarlo antes tú mismo!).

• El tutorial de edición te ayudará a que utilices el código wiki correctamente, y te familiarices con Vikidia. Si solamente quieres jugar o hacer pruebas, ¡tienes la zona de juegos a tu disposición!

Remove interwikis to Wikipedia

Hello, recently there was a discussion in the Club concerning the interwikis to Simple English Wikipedia and Spanish Wikipedia. The final agreement was to remove them from all pages. I already did that with my bot, but we need them removed from the interwiki table to prevent them being added by error. Only system administrators can do that, so I'm asking you. LinedBot

Ortisa: Sorry to reply in english but I can't say it in spanish. Currently, LinedBot is able (on a simple request) to:

• Periodic clear of the the "Sandbox" (Vikidia:Zona de pruebas) to reset it to a "clean state"
• Notification of inactive sysops of their "inactivity" and request for removal of their tools when the "inactivity delay" is over

These two examples are the most used over Vikidia (on fr and it), other LinedBot jobs are specific to a need on a given wiki. It is also used when we update Mediawiki version to propagate to all Vikidia some changes / system messages updates. Linedwell (mensajes) 18:22 29 jun 2017 (CEST)

Error reporting system

Hello,

Solymar and I have been talking in IRC and we think that it would be a good idea to implement a system so that our readers can report errors in the article they are reading. This would help to improve the quality of the project, since most readers don't know how to edit. We want to adapt the system used in Spanish Wikipedia. To see it in action, follow these steps:

1. Go to a random page of es.wikipedia (Main namespace) anonymously, logging out of your account.
2. In the sidebar, you have the link Notificar un error. Click it.
3. A pop-up opens explaining how does the system work. It also explains that everybody can edit the article and it encourages the user to do it.
4. The button Voy a arreglarlo opens the code editor of the page. Click the button next to it, Informar del error.
5. Another pop-up appears. In the big text field, you can say what's the error in the article. The placeholder tells the user to provide references.
6. The button Enviar automatically creates a section in the Wikipedia:Informes de error (don't click it unless you want to edit that page!).

In case the user is logged-in, the Notificar un error link takes the user directly to the error reporting page. The JS code can be found here. Do you think it could be adapted to Vikidia? --Unapersona (mensajes) 19:03 28 jul 2017 (CEST)
